About
Well I guess this is the part where I write about myself. Not something that I particularly enjoy, but who does? Well here goes… I am young (25), married to the greatest girl on earth (sorry Mum!), passionate about photography and the natural environment. I live in Perth, Western Australia and I truly believe Australia is one of the most blessed countries in the world. I believe art has the power to unite, restore, establish identity and bring joy. Much like Jesus.
I have a dream to work with not for profit organisations, the sick and needy and provide with them beautiful art for free. Just imagine the joy in giving a beautiful framed print to a terminally ill young child who would otherwise be staring at a blank wall. I think the world of art is full of people wanting to receive, wanting to receive adulation and praise, money and acclaim, it’s all about the artist. That my friends is the path to a shallow and unsatisfied life. If you have a gift then how can you share it? It is better to give than receive, if you don’t believe that then you haven’t done it properly.
I’ll get down off my soap box now, but if that way of thinking challenges you, then I strongly urge you to have a think about what really matters in life. I’ll even give you a clue, it starts in p and ends with eople. Writing about this kind of stuff probably gives you a better idea about who I am than me trying to write a PR piece. Feel free to contact me if you want to talk about any of this stuff. I hope you all enjoy my images on here and what I have to say, and I hope you’re enjoying life.
Love, Wes.

Cool Wes…miss you at Camera Club, hope you can come back in the second half of the year!
